DLIP cleans up at Spirit of Service Awards!!

On September 26th the Public Service Commission held the 2024 Te Hāpai Hapori | Spirit of Service Awards in Wellington.

These awards recognise public servants who go the extra mile and initiatives that deliver great outcomes for people in New Zealand.

The Driver Licence Improvement Programme (DLIP), which Rationale has been closely involved with, was up for the Better Outcomes Award (Te Tohu mō ngā Hua E Pai Ake Ana).

So, the Rationale team were delighted to find out today that not only did DLIP take out that award, but they cleaned up and also took out the overall Prime Minister's Award (Te Tohu a te Pirimia) - awesome work guys, we couldn't be happier for you!!!

Prime Minister Chris Luxton had this to say about the DLIP project:

The winner is exactly what public service is all about. It has everything. It’s a new initiative. It’s delivering great results. It’s great value for money. And it’s a collaborative effort between agencies.

We wholeheartedly agree with the Prime Minister and congratulate everyone who has worked so hard on the DLIP programme – these are very well deserved awards.

It was an absolute pleasure to be able to set up and contribute this piece of work - this is exactly the sort of impact we want to have, and it’s great to see our clients recognized for their efforts.
